Ready, Set, STEAM! is an early learning program that sparks curiosity and nurtures a love of science and nature in children through age 5.
Through guided discussion and play, these programs invite children to explore and make sense of the world around them. When their curiosity and joy in the natural world are nurtured, a lasting foundation for science learning takes root.
We invite our littlest learners and their caregivers to join an educator every Tuesday at 10:30 am and eagerly explore their world.
STEAM Story Time: My Adult and Me
STEAM Story Time: My Adult & Me sparks the scientific spirit in young children ages 0-3, who are naturally eager and inquisitive. Each week features a new science theme with STEAM-focused storybooks and hands-on activities that are perfect for little hands, curious minds, and budding book lovers!
Stay around after the story for an animal encounter, activity, and a snack.
Every Tuesday, September through June, 10:30 am–11:15 am, when Worcester Public Schools are in session.
Included with the cost of admission. Limited to 20 adult-child pairs.
Starting January, 2026, free tickets will be required for STEAM Story Time as attendance continues to grow. Get your free ticket at the Information Desk on the Upper Level.
In February, 2026, STEAM Story Time will expand to an additional 11:00 am session to keep up with our growing audience!
Tots' Exploration Station Young scientists are invited to stop by our table for a drop-in, hands-on science experience!
Explore themed table-top activities and games anytime between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.

Budding Scientists Children and grownups alike are invited to become Budding Scientists every Thursday at 10:30 am!
Budding Scientists encourages curious explorers to dive into hands-on simple, safe, and exciting science and nature investigations that are perfect for children ages 3 to 5.
With a new topic every week, our young investigators just need to bring their curiosity and questions—we'll provide the exciting STEAM experiments!
