Dancing with the Dinosaurs Dance-a-Thon

3:30 – 4:30 pm*
*Participants can enter the Museum grounds to check in starting at 2:30 pm.
Join us Sunday, August 17 – the day after our Dinosaur Day – and participate in a Dinosaur Dance-a-thon and on-site raffle to help us raise funds for the “Change the World” exhibit in memory of Anthony Putnam.
Dinosaur costumes are welcome and encouraged!
Raffle participants will have a chance of winning a genuine petrified dinosaur bone pendant set in sterling silver from Moab National Park in Utah! This unique necklace was created by John M. Scully, Jeweler, and is valued at $375.
How to Participate in the Dance-a-thon
Register for the Event: Participation is free, but please Pre-register Here
Get Sponsors: By raising money through this dance-a-thon, you will help the EcoTarium develop the “Change the World” exhibit, in memory of Anthony Putnam. Anthony was a little boy with big dreams of changing the world. This exhibit will be part of the Early Childhood Science Learning Center (late 2026).
To get sponsors, please share this link in your communications.
The dancing portion of the Dance-a-Thon will last approximately 20 minutes. You can dance for as long or as little as you would like.
Your sponsors will have an opportunity to sponsor you at any level they desire. Their donation does not tie to how long you will dance. They can and should indicate who you are (the participant) on the form.
We will tally the number of sponsors and amount raised per participant after the dance-a-thon. There will be prizes for the top three fundraisers!

And we have drafted a sponsorship solicitation that you can copy and modify to send to friends and family to ask them to sponsor you.
