Bringing the Universe to Main Street
Dr. Robert Goddard’s story perfectly illustrates values worth promoting and encouraging: Vision, perseverance, ingenuity, and invention. The Robert Goddard Project initiative works to share Goddard’s remarkable legacy and vision and, as importantly, to pay tribute to and honor the Goddards of today and tomorrow: Scientists, educators, students, engineers, innovators, and dreamers dedicated to expanding knowledge for the benefit of humanity.
Charles H. Slatkin has leveraged a unique cross-disciplinary set of skills to educate and wow audiences worldwide. He is an internationally recognized “wow factor” pioneer, space evangelist, and “visioneer.” Inspired by the accomplishments of Dr. Robert Goddard, he now dedicates his time and energy to the goals of The Wonder Mission, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose initiatives include saving and restoring Goddard’s Worcester home, launching The National Space Trail at the site, and encouraging others across the nation to leverage Goddard’s amazing legacy for the greater good.

Cost: $6 for members, $7 for non-members (per person). General museum admission will not be charged for members or guests arriving after 4:30 pm on Speaker Series days.
