Discover the wonders beyond Earth’s atmosphere in the only public planetarium in central Massachusetts. The Alden Planetarium was completely renovated in 2022 and is open once again to bring our universe to Worcester, now with stunning 4k technology.
Tickets: Tickets are available for purchase at the Information Desk on the Upper Level of the museum and are not included with general admission. Daily planetarium tickets cannot be purchased online. After purchasing a ticket upstairs, please arrive 5 minutes before showtime. Late arrivals may not be granted entry.
Non-members – $7.00 per person
Members – $6.00 per person
Children under 2 get in free!
The Alden Planetarium seats 80 guests.
Accessibility: Four spaces with adjacent companion seats are available for wheelchair users.
A limited number of audio assistive devices is available. Please request any devices or accommodations at the time of reservation. Limited closed captioning is available as listed in individual program descriptions. If you would like to have closed captioning enabled during your program please inform the Information Desk when you purchase your tickets.
Mask Policy: Masks are recommended for all guests within the planetarium. Masks are available at the planetarium entrance and throughout the museum for all space travelers who wish to wear one.
