Status: Temporary Full Time, 37.5 hours/week around 9:30am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday

Job Summary: Ticket Sales

All aboard!  Calling all Train Enthusiasts! Would you like an opportunity to work on beautiful museum grounds and with a replica of the 1863 C.P. Huntington steam locomotive?  The EcoTarium, a museum of science and nature, is seeking a ticket agent for our train station.

Our Explorer Express Train provides excitement for EcoTarium visitors. Open-air passenger cars take visitors on a scenic 12-minute ride; a relaxing and beautiful way to see the museum grounds.


  • Operating the train sales booth
  • Greeting and providing information support to Visitors
  • Selling tickets
  • Cash handling
  • Working with the Altru POS system
  • Knowledge of all safety procedures and ability to execute on them in case of emergency

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 18 years or older
  • Basic computer skills
  • Customer service

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

Tuesday-Saturday 37.5 hours/day
